Save Us Now Inc. Holiday Giving Event 2023
This year, Save Us Now Inc. will be partnering again with the Mother’s Outreach Network and the Potomac Gardens Resident Council to provide a holiday giving event for the residents of the Potomac Gardens Apartment Complex, located at 700 12th Street SE Washington DC 20003. We will be providing this community with a wonderful holiday giving event (refreshments, personal toiletry items, housewares, and Christmas Toys) many community resources for the residents but especially their children. The Comforts of Home Free Market
This program helps the un-sheltered and displaced families who are moving from a shelter or transitional housing into permanent housing. We assist them by helping them to get basic household items and supplies for their new home.
Save Us Now “A Feast for My People Project” helps those who are in need, whether they are without shelter or living below the poverty line. We provide ready to eat food, essential groceries, and personal hygiene products to those in the most need.
“Wrapped in Dignity” is a program that hands out basic hygiene products to the unsheltered to help them to stay clean and healthy daily. We prepare a bag filled with the basic necessities and pass them out monthly, these bags are filled with travel size personal hygiene care products (feminine protection products (sanitary pads, tampons), deodorant, soap, shower gel, shampoo, lotions, toothbrushes, tooth paste, mouth wash, combs, brushes, hand sanitizer, cleansing wipes, and bottled water) and we give them out at certain locations in Washington, D.C. where the unsheltered are usually located.
